Project Level Geotechnical Engineer
Triad Engineering in St. Albans, West Virginia, has begun a retirement succession plan that includes finding a replacement for a long-time employee and department head in our geotechnical department who will retire in a few years. We’re looking for an individual with leadership skills, business skills, communication skills and innate sense of urgency. This position has great potential to be a department head and senior engineer in just a few short years. This position provides independent engineering consulting and support by performing complex engineering tasks and specialized skills in the application of geotechnical engineering fundamentals. There is potential for this person to assume a larger leadership role within the company in a short period time. For the right candidate, career opportunities include a department head position or even branch manager in less than eight years. As a result, we are looking for a candidate with strong leadership, mentoring, and strategic thinking skills, business acumen, a proven track record of client development, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management. Prior supervision experience is a must. As a multi-disciplinary consulting firm, Triad Engineering, Inc. (Triad) provides geotechnical and civil engineering, environmental services, land surveying, construction testing and monitoring, drilling and construction materials laboratory services, to a wide range of clients.
